Import optimized SVG to Figma

Things you'll need

  • Figma
  • Convertify Figma plugin
  • SVG files

Steps

  1. Open Figma and go to the Resources tab.
  2. Search for Convertify under the Plugins tab and save it to your Figma plugins list.
  3. On the canvas, right-click and go to Plugins > Saved Plugins > Convertify to run the plugin.
  4. Open the plugin dropdown and choose Import to Figma > Import Optimized SVG to Figma.
  5. Drag and drop an SVG file into the plugin to import an optimized version onto the page.
  6. Compare the optimized SVG with a normal SVG import to see the reduced groups and vector layers.
