Convertify imports Affinity .af, .afdesign, .afpub and .afphoto documents into Figma.
Affinity import is in Beta. Supported layers remain editable, but effects and other features can differ. If native data cannot be read, Convertify may place the embedded preview image instead and reports that it is not editable.
Import your document
- Save your document in Affinity and keep the original file.
- Run Convertify in Figma and choose Import into Figma.
- Choose Import Affinity to Figma (Beta).
- Click the file chooser or drop your Affinity document into the plugin.
- Review the import warnings, then check the new layers against Affinity, including text, images, symbols and effects.
Editable layers and preview fallback
The importer reads supported native document data into Figma layers. An unreadable or unsupported structure can fall back to the file's embedded preview when available. That preview is a single image at its stored resolution, not a reconstructed editable document.
A file can fail if neither its document data nor its preview can be read. Affinity asset, brush and style libraries are not document imports. Convertify does not export Affinity files.
