What this video covers
This tutorial shows how to use the Convertify Figma plugin to import a Google Sheets table directly into Figma with one click. It also demonstrates how to adjust the imported table’s columns, header styling, image size, and stroke settings after import.
Things you'll need
- A Figma file with the Convertify plugin available
- A Google Sheet with a simple table layout, using the first row as headers
- A shareable Google Sheets link set to Anyone with the link
Steps
- Open the Resources icon in Figma, search for Convertify, and run the plugin or save it for later use.
- In Convertify, switch from the default export option to Import to Figma and choose Import Google Sheet Table to Figma.
- Open the Google Sheet, set General access to Anyone with the link, keep the permission as Viewer, and copy the share link.
- Paste the Google Sheets URL into Convertify and click Import Google Sheet.
- Wait for the table and any image URLs in the sheet to be downloaded and imported into Figma.
- Edit the imported component in Figma by resizing columns, changing text styling, adjusting the image layer in the table header component, and turning table strokes on or off as needed.
