**What this video covers**

This video shows how to use the Convertify Figma plugin to import pre-optimized SVG files into Figma. It demonstrates that the imported SVGs keep the same visual appearance while using fewer groups and simplified vector layers for easier editing.

**Things you'll need**

- Figma
- Convertify Figma plugin
- SVG files

**Steps**

1. Open Figma and go to the Resources tab.
2. Search for Convertify under the Plugins tab and save it to your Figma plugins list.
3. On the canvas, right-click and go to Plugins > Saved Plugins > Convertify to run the plugin.
4. Open the plugin dropdown and choose Import to Figma > Import Optimized SVG to Figma.
5. Drag and drop an SVG file into the plugin to import an optimized version onto the page.
6. Compare the optimized SVG with a normal SVG import to see the reduced groups and vector layers.
