Import Adobe Photoshop to Figma

Things you'll need

  • A Figma file
  • The Convertify Figma plugin
  • An Adobe Photoshop .psd file

Steps

  1. Open a Figma file and find Convertify from the actions icon or run it from saved plugins.
  2. In Convertify, choose the import to Figma section and select import Adobe Photoshop to Figma.
  3. Drag and drop a .psd file into the Convertify drop zone.
  4. Wait for the plugin to load the PSD and create a new page in Figma.
  5. Review the imported image layers, text layers, groups, and layer names, then edit them directly in Figma.
  6. If needed, tweak small text alignment differences because Photoshop and Figma may render text differently.
