Convert Figma Components to Sketch Symbols

Things you'll need

  • Figma
  • Convertify plugin
  • Sketch

Steps

  1. Install the Convertify plugin from the Figma Community.
  2. Open a Figma file, then run Convertify from right-click > Plugins > Convertify.
  3. Open the settings icon next to the Sketch button and enable “Convert Figma components to Sketch symbols”.
  4. Click “Convert to Sketch” and wait for the plugin to process all pages and layers.
  5. Click “Download Sketch File” and save the file to your computer.
  6. Open the exported Sketch file in Sketch and check the new “Symbols” page for converted components.
  7. Edit symbols, colors, or styles in Sketch to update the design globally.
