Video Title: Export Figma to Adobe Photoshop
This video tutorial is a complete step-by-step guide showing you how to automatically export Figma to Adobe Photoshop (.psd) files with one click using the Convertify plugin.
To export your designs from Figma for Adobe Photoshop, select the Export Figma to Adobe Photoshop option from the Convertify select box in the plugin.
Exporting the current Figma page to Photoshop
To convert an entire page, click Export This Page to begin converting the current page to a .psd file.
Exporting selected Figma frames to Photoshop
If you only want specific areas exported, select the Figma frames you want and then click Export Selected Frames.
Photoshop PSD size limits
PSD files have a maximum document size of 30,000 x 30,000 px, and very large PSD canvases can also be too large to build safely in the browser. If your selected frames are spread far apart on the Figma canvas, Convertify will stop the export before building the file and ask you to move the frames closer together or export a smaller selection.
Downloading your .psd file from Figma
After Convertify has finished processing, download your .psd file from the file browser.
Saving file downloads from Figma If you're using the Figma desktop app, you'll see a prompt appear to download your file. However, if you're using Figma in a web browser, your file will automatically be downloaded to your computer by default (usually to the Downloads directory on your computer).
Opening .psd file in Photoshop
Once downloaded, open the .psd file in Adobe Photoshop to continue editing.
