Bannerify keeps a history of timeline edits while the current plugin timeline is open. Use the left and right arrow buttons in the Bannerify header to undo or redo the most recent change. Hover over either button to see the action that will be restored.
Jump between edits
Click History beside the undo/redo arrows to open the Timeline History panel. Choose any listed step to jump directly to it. Current marks the active step, and later steps remain available so you can move forward again. Eight states appear on each page. Use Previous and Next for longer histories. Close the panel with its close button, by clicking outside it, or with Escape.
The panel keeps up to 50 edits. Earliest available state is the state before the oldest retained edit. Making a new edit after moving backward replaces the later steps. Closing the panel does not clear history.
Keyboard shortcuts
You can also use these keyboard shortcuts while focus is outside a text or number input:
- Command + Z on macOS or Ctrl + Z on Windows to undo.
- Command + Shift + Z on macOS, or Ctrl + Shift + Z / Ctrl + Y on Windows, to redo.
What history includes
History steps include animation choices, completed timing drags, precise speed or delay edits, loop and hover toggles, pasted or batch-applied animations, Magic timing changes, motion-sequence applications, timing sync, Figma Motion timing changes, scene timing shifts, and timeline length changes.
Continuous interactions are grouped into useful steps. For example, dragging a timing bar creates one history step when you release it, and applying an animation to several selected layers creates one batch step.
Layer selection, timeline playback, preview seeking, zoom, scrolling, layer filtering, snapping, work-area settings, markers and scene expand or collapse controls do not create history steps. The History panel restores timeline edits rather than these session view controls.
Timeline history is available for the current Bannerify session. Refreshing or reloading the banner data starts a new history.
