Export banners to WebM videos from Figma

This tutorial shows how to install the Bannerify Figma plugin and use it to export animated banners from Figma to WebM video files in one click. It also explains the export options, the generated preview page, and how to open the resulting zip file and WebM videos.

Things you'll need

  • Figma
  • The Bannerify Figma plugin
  • Animated banners already set up in Bannerify

Steps

  1. Install the Bannerify Figma plugin from Figma Community or Plugins and confirm it shows as Installed.
  2. Open your Figma file, right click, go to Plugins, and launch Bannerify.
  3. Make sure your parent frames and layer animations are set up the way you want in Bannerify.
  4. Click Export to GIF/Video, adjust output quality and the preview page setting if needed, and leave the GIF-only option off for WebM export.
  5. Click Export to WebM and wait while Bannerify renders each banner and packages the results into a zip file.
  6. Save the download, unzip it, and open the included index.html preview page or individual WebM files.
  7. Use the exported WebM files on the web as needed, or convert them to another format with a third-party tool if required.
