# Undoing and redoing timeline changes

> Restore recent animation, timing, and batch changes in the Bannerify timeline.

Bannerify keeps a history of timeline edits while the current plugin timeline is open. Use the left and right arrow buttons in the Bannerify header to undo or redo the most recent change. Hover over either button to see the action that will be restored.

You can also use these keyboard shortcuts while focus is outside a text or number input:

- Command + Z on macOS or Ctrl + Z on Windows to undo.
- Command + Shift + Z on macOS, or Ctrl + Shift + Z / Ctrl + Y on Windows, to redo.

History steps include animation choices, completed timing drags, precise speed or delay edits, loop and hover toggles, pasted or batch-applied animations, Magic timing changes, Figma Motion timing changes, scene timing shifts, and timeline length changes.

Continuous interactions are grouped into useful steps. For example, dragging a timing bar creates one history step when you release it, and applying an animation to several selected layers creates one batch step.

Layer selection, timeline playback, preview seeking, and scene expand or collapse controls do not create history steps.

> **Warning:** Timeline history is available for the current Bannerify session. Refreshing or reloading the banner data starts a new history.
