Exporting tap-to-SMS HTML banners

Create Studio Enabler HTML creatives that open a preconfigured SMS action when tapped.

USSD (Tap to SMS) ​

Select USSD (Tap to SMS) when the primary banner action should open the device's SMS interface. Bannerify uses the Studio Enabler, records separate website and tap-to-SMS counters, and opens the configured phone number with an sms: URL.

Setup ​

  1. Load the banner into Bannerify and click Export to HTML.
  2. Select USSD (Tap to SMS).
  3. Enter the website clickTag and the SMS phone number shown in the export panel.
  4. Export and unzip the main Bannerify download.
  5. Upload the individual ZIP from _zips to the compatible Studio workflow.

Test the exact creative on supported mobile devices. Desktop browser previews may not have an application registered for sms: links.
