What this video covers

The video shows how to use the Bannerify Figma plugin to bulk export banner variants from a CSV or Excel spreadsheet. It demonstrates mapping spreadsheet columns to Figma layer names, loading optional local images from a zipped file, and exporting the variants to HTML, GIF, or video.

Things you'll need

  • A Figma file with banner frames and content layers already set up
  • A CSV or Excel file with column names matching the Figma layer names
  • Optional local image assets zipped together with the spreadsheet if images are included

Steps

  1. Open your Figma file, find Bannerify from the actions menu or saved Figma plugins, and run the plugin.
  2. Go to the Variance panel and prepare your spreadsheet data source, making sure the spreadsheet header names match the Figma layer names.
  3. If you need images, zip the CSV or Excel file together with the image assets and make sure the image names match the spreadsheet values.
  4. Drag and drop the zip file into Bannerify to load the rows and preview the mapped text and images.
  5. Close the Variance panel and export the banners, choosing Export to HTML or Export to GIF or video and then selecting the desired format.
  6. Download the exported zip file, unzip it, and open index.html to preview the generated banner variants.
  7. If you reopen the plugin later, reimport the data into the Variance panel and optionally toggle rows on or off before exporting again.
