Add video embeds to Figma banner exports

Things you'll need

  • Figma
  • Bannerify Figma plugin
  • A direct .mp4 or .webm video URL

Steps

  1. Find Bannerify in the Figma Community under the Plugins tab and install it.
  2. Open your Figma file, right-click, go to Plugins, and run Bannerify.
  3. Click Load Selected Banners to load the banner frames into Bannerify.
  4. Choose a placeholder or other layer, open its settings, and paste an .mp4 or .webm URL into the embed field.
  5. Preview the banner timeline to confirm the video plays alongside the other animations.
  6. Use Apply Embed or Quick Select to apply the same video to multiple selected layers or banners.
  7. Export the banners with Export to HTML or Export to GIF/Video, then download and open the exported files to verify the result.
