Hypermatic Pro licenses are seat-based. One seat is for one Figma user. If your team has 7 people who need to use a plugin, choose 7 seats.
Use the Hypermatic License Manager to manage which Figma users are linked to your license key.
How do I manage license seats?
- Open the Hypermatic License Manager.
- Enter your license key.
- Review which Figma users are linked to the key.
- Remove users who no longer need access.
- Share the same key with the new Figma user who should use the seat.
How do I free up a seat for someone else?
Open the license manager, remove the old Figma user from the key, then ask the new user to unlock the plugin with the same license key.
This is useful when someone leaves a team, a contractor finishes, or a different designer needs to use the plugin.
Can we transfer a license from an employee who left?
Yes. For a multi-seat license, open the Hypermatic License Manager, remove the old Figma user from the license key, then share the same license key with the new Figma user. The new user can unlock the plugin with that key.
This changes which Figma users are linked to the key. It does not change the number of paid seats on the subscription.
What is the difference between reassigning a user and changing the number of paid seats?
Reassigning a user means removing one Figma user from the license key and allowing another Figma user to use that existing seat. Use the Hypermatic License Manager for this.
Changing the number of paid seats means increasing or reducing how many seats the subscription includes. Use the Manage membership link in the Gumroad receipt for this.
Do we get one license key or multiple license keys for a multi-seat purchase?
A multi-seat purchase uses one license key with multiple allowed Figma users. Share the same license key with the team members who should use the paid seats, then manage the linked Figma users in the Hypermatic License Manager.
Can I add more seats to a subscription?
Yes. Open a Gumroad receipt for the subscription, click the Manage membership or subscription settings link, then use the plus button under Seats to increase the number of seats.
When you add seats, Gumroad normally charges a prorated amount immediately so the additional seats align with the current renewal date.
Can I remove seats from a subscription?
Yes. Open a Gumroad receipt for the subscription, click the Manage membership or subscription settings link, then use the minus button under Seats to reduce the number of seats.
Removing seats usually updates the renewal price at the end of the current billing cycle.
What is prorated pricing when I add seats?
Prorated pricing means Gumroad charges only for the remaining time in the current billing period when you add seats mid-cycle.
For example, if you add seats halfway through a yearly subscription, Gumroad calculates the unused part of the existing billing period and charges the appropriate remaining amount for the extra seats.
Does changing seats change who can use the license?
Changing the seat count changes how many Figma users can be linked to the key. The license manager controls which specific Figma users are using those seats.
If you add seats, the license can support more Figma users. If you remove seats, make sure only the remaining allowed number of users are linked.
How do I get help changing seats?
Use the Hypermatic License Manager to change which Figma users are linked to an existing license key. Use the Manage membership link in your Gumroad receipt to change the paid seat count on a subscription.
The support chat can explain those workflows. Private license or subscription changes need the self-serve tools or email support. Use the license manager for linked Figma users, Gumroad for paid seat counts, and email [email protected] for account-specific help.
