Hypermatic plugins run inside Figma and do not normally require a separate desktop application. Start from the official Hypermatic Figma Community profile.
Run a plugin for the first time
- Open Hypermatic on Figma Community.
- Choose the plugin you want to use.
- Select Run in Figma.
- Open or create a Figma file if Figma asks where to run the plugin.
- Complete the workflow in the plugin window.
If you use a plugin often, save it from the Figma Community plugin page so it is easier to find later.
Run a saved plugin again
In a Figma file, open the main Figma menu, choose Plugins, then find the plugin in your saved or recent plugins.
You can also right-click on the Figma canvas, open Plugins, and choose the plugin from the menu.
Understand what is installed
For most Hypermatic plugin workflows, no separate desktop app is required. The plugins run inside Figma.
Some exported files or downstream workflows may be opened in other tools after export, such as PowerPoint, an email marketing platform, a browser, or an image viewer. That depends on the plugin and export format.
Remove a saved plugin
Open the plugin page on Figma Community and use Figma's plugin management options to remove or unsave the plugin.
You can also manage saved plugins from inside Figma's plugin menu.
Fix a plugin that does not appear
Try these steps:
- Make sure you are logged into the correct Figma account.
- Open the plugin directly from Hypermatic on Figma Community.
- Try running it from a normal Figma design file.
- Restart the Figma desktop app or refresh Figma in the browser.
- Check whether your company network blocks Figma plugin resources.
For network issues, see Network, VPN, firewall, and regional troubleshooting.
Get installation help
Figma plugins need to be run or saved from your own Figma account. Support can walk you through the steps, but plugin installation happens inside your Figma account.
Use the Hypermatic Figma Community profile to open the plugin page, then click Run in Figma. The support chat can link you to the right plugin and help you troubleshoot if the plugin does not appear.
