Export review link feedback from the Commentful web app

You can export and copy review link feedback from the Commentful web app as CSV, Markdown, or ready-to-paste AI summary prompts.

Export review feedback to CSV from the Figma plugin ​

To export a list of any review link feedback and change requests from the Commentful Figma plugin, with the Reviews tab selected in the plugin and a Review card already open, you can click on the Export Feedback button in the bottom right of the plugin window.

This will automatically export and download all of the feedback for the review link version you're currently viewing, which will be saved directly to your computer as a .csv file you can open as a spreadsheet in an app of your choice (eg. Microsoft Excel, Google Sheeets or Apple Numbers).

Export review feedback from the Commentful web app ​

To export a list of any review link feedback and change requests from the Commentful web app, click the Show All Feedback button in the top right of the browser window, then click the Export Feedback dropdown in the top of the feedback panel.

The export menu can be used with the feedback that is currently visible in the panel, so any active search query, author filter, date range, feedback type filter or completed-feedback filter will be respected.

Download CSV ​

Choosing Download CSV will automatically export and download the currently filtered feedback as a .csv file you can open in an app of your choice (eg. Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets or Apple Numbers).

Copy Markdown or CSV ​

If you want to paste your feedback into another tool, document or chat, you can also use:

  • Copy as Markdown
  • Copy as CSV

These options will copy the currently filtered feedback directly to your clipboard.

Copy an AI summary prompt ​

You can also use the export menu to prepare a ready-to-paste summary prompt for:

  • Summarize in ChatGPT
  • Summarize in Claude
  • Summarize in Gemini

Each option copies a pre-written prompt to your clipboard that already includes the currently filtered review feedback, making it easy to paste into the AI tool of your choice and quickly generate a summary, grouped themes, priorities and action items.

Whenever an export or copy action succeeds in the web app, Commentful will show a confirmation message in the feedback sidebar so you can quickly verify that the action worked.
