Search your Figma comments

To search your Figma comments, with the Figma Comments tab selected, you can start typing a keyword in the Search Input field to instantly trigger an automatic content search of your Figma comments.

You can click on any item in the search results list to open that comment card in the Commentful plugin.

Filter your Figma comments

To filter your Figma comments, with the Figma Comments tab selected, you can click on the Filter icon button (to the right of the search input field) in the plugin subheader to bring up the filters panel.

With the filtering panel open, you can apply any desired filters to narrow down the Figma comments that will be displayed in your kanban board under the Figma Comments tab; these can include filtering by comment date ranges, filtering by Commentful tags, filtering by Figma user and filtering by which Figma frame(s) the Figma comments belong to.

You can clear your applied filters at any time by re-opening the filters panel (by clicking on the Filters icon button in the plugin subheader), then clicking the Clear Filters button, which will reset all the filters and show all of your Figma comments again (without any narrowing/filtering of comments applied).

Sort your Figma comments

To sort your Figma comments, with the Figma Comments tab selected, you can click on the Sort select box at the bottom of the plugin window to use the comment sorting dropdown options.

This dropdown box will let you sort by:

  • The Last Reply in any Figma comment (this is default sort option).
  • The Figma comment Created Date.
  • The name of the Figma User who posted the comment.

Selecting any of these dropdown options will autmatically sort your Figma comments in the kanban board by the ordering you’ve selected.
