Images, animation and 3D
- Trace JPG, PNG and WebP images into editable SVG paths.

What stays editable
Supported text, vectors and structure stay editable where the source and destination formats allow. Sketch and XD workflows preserve supported components, styles and prototype links. Penpot supports local components, libraries and supported variable bindings.
Procreate painting layers remain images, and exported text and vectors become pixels. Lottie and video imports become GIF layers, and 3D imports become rendered images. Other conversions may rasterize effects or use image fallbacks; an image that looks right does not establish editable-layer parity.
Beta formats can differ from the source. Keep your original, review warnings, make matching fonts available and compare important layouts in the destination application. InDesign imports use IDML or packaged IDML ZIPs; native INDD import is not a public workflow.
Local processing and access
Local design-file imports and exports run on your computer without uploading your files to a conversion server. Licensing, usage reporting, asset downloads and Google content imports use network connections. See Convertify security.
