# Inspecting Figma layers as code

> Using the Weblify plugin, you can select any Figma layer on the current page and inspect it as code.

> **Note:** Please note that Weblify is currently still in **BETA** and the code output will continually improve with upcoming plugin updates.

After running the Weblify Figma plugin, ensure that the **Inspect Code** tab is selected, and then click on any Figma layer on your current page, which will automatically generate the HTML markup and CSS styles for the selected Figma layer. You can also [choose a code output option](/weblify/inspect/frameworks) to match your own codebase.
