# Import a website into Figma

> Fetch a public website URL and copy its rendered layout into Figma with Weblify.

Weblify can fetch a public website and convert its rendered layout into Figma layers. Use this as a starting point for inspection or redesign work, then check the imported result against the original site.

## Import a website

1. Open **Advanced** and select **Import website**.
2. Enter an `http` or `https` website URL.
3. Set the viewport **Width** and **Capture Height**. Width can be 320 to 4,096 pixels, and capture height can be 320 to 6,000 pixels.
4. Select **Fetch Website**.
5. Review the rendered preview and capture details.
6. Select **Copy to Figma**.

Weblify first tries to fetch the page directly. If the site blocks that request, it can use Hypermatic's website proxy. The result panel identifies which fetch method was used.

> **Warning:** Imported pages may differ from the live site. Login requirements, scripts, browser state, embedded content, blocked assets, and unsupported CSS can affect the result.
