**What this video covers**

This tutorial shows how to use the TinyImage Figma plugin to export selected Figma layers as an animated PNG (APNG) instead of a GIF. It also demonstrates adjusting frame timing, scaling, transitions, transparency, and quality before exporting the file as a .png that animates like a GIF.

**Things you'll need**

- A Figma file with layers selected for export
- The TinyImage Figma plugin

**Steps**

1. Open your Figma file, find TinyImage from the Actions menu, and save it to your plugins list if you want easier access later.
2. Run TinyImage from right-click > Plugins > Saved plugins > TinyImage.
3. Select the Figma layers you want to animate.
4. Click "Create GIF/MP4" and change the format from animated GIF to animated PNG.
5. Adjust the animation settings such as frame timing, scaling, transitions, transparency, and quality as needed.
6. Click "Export APNG" and save the exported file to your computer as a .png.
7. Open the saved file to verify that it plays as an animated PNG.
