# Create logo colour variants

> Prepare the full-colour, black, white, grayscale, and custom logo variations clients need.

Most client logo packages need more than the original full-colour artwork. Select the built-in colour variations you want to include in **Generate Logos in Figma** or **Export ZIP**. TinyImage creates one variant per selected logo and colour scheme.

TinyImage preserves useful artwork relationships when recolouring:

- Light and dark source colours become corresponding tints and shades of the chosen colour.
- **Black** and **White** variants use the opposite monochrome colour for strongly contrasting details nested inside a filled logo shape.
- Custom schemes keep the original colour of those strongly contrasting nested details.
- Knockout details remain empty when they are represented by negative space rather than a filled layer.

## Add custom single-colour schemes

The **Custom single-colour schemes (optional)** switch is enabled by default. Enter a descriptive name followed by a three- or six-digit hex colour:

To add multiple schemes, separate them with semicolons or put each scheme on a new line:

Brand blue: #0066FF; Warm red: #E84A3C
```

TinyImage creates a separate variant for each valid custom scheme. The descriptive name is used for the `{color}` filename token and the generated Figma layer name. The hex value becomes the primary artwork colour, while lighter and darker source colours become corresponding tints and shades of it.

Turn the switch off to temporarily exclude all custom schemes from **Generate Logos in Figma** and **Export ZIP**. TinyImage disables the field but preserves its contents, so you can turn it back on without re-entering the colours.

## Check the results

Review logos with nested marks, knockout shapes, gradients, and multiple brand shades before delivery. If a strongly contrasting detail is a separate filled layer inside another logo shape, TinyImage preserves its original colour for custom schemes. For example, a white glyph inside a coloured mark stays white while the surrounding mark and separate wordmark use the custom colour.
