# History & projects

> Move between edit steps and save TinyImage projects for later.

## History

Choose **History** to see named edit steps. The highlighted row is the current state. Click an earlier or later row to restore it. Toolbar **Undo** and **Redo** use the same history.

A new edit made from an earlier step replaces later steps. History retains the latest 60 states while the image is open. Opening another image or project starts fresh history. History is not included in saved project files and does not track changes made directly to the Figma document.

## Save a project

Select **Project** to save a `.tinyimage` project to retain the original image, applied perspective, crop, retouched pixels, saved selections and editing recipe. Use **Open saved project** to resume it later. A reopened project can be inserted or downloaded; it does not reconnect to the original Figma fill. Undo history is kept for the current session and is not included in the project. Older projects still open; newly saved projects require a current TinyImage version. The project file limit is 100 MB.
