**What this video covers**

This tutorial shows how to use the Pitchdeck Figma plugin to export Google Slides as a .pptx file, import that file into Figma, and then paste the imported slides into a Figma Slides deck. It also shows that the imported slides remain editable in Figma Slides, while noting the import is currently in BETA and may need minor manual fixes.

**Things you'll need**

- A Figma design file
- The Pitchdeck Figma plugin
- A Google Slides presentation exported as a .pptx file

**Steps**

1. Open a new Figma design file and run the Pitchdeck plugin from Resources or Saved plugins.
2. In Google Slides, go to File > Download and choose Microsoft PowerPoint .pptx.
3. Drag and drop the downloaded .pptx file into the import .pptx drop zone in Pitchdeck to import the slides into Figma.
4. Select all imported frames with Command A or Control A, then right-click and choose copy.
5. Open a Figma Slides file by going to File > New slide deck, then click Start from scratch.
6. Make sure you are in list view, right-click in the left sidebar, and paste the copied slides.
7. Switch to grid view if you want an overview of the imported slides and edit the layers as needed.
