# Pitchdeck Command Menu & Shortcuts

> Use Pitchdeck's command menu to run presentation commands and search your slides, notes and objects.

The command menu lets you find and run Pitchdeck actions by typing, without hunting through panels. It works while the Pitchdeck plugin window is open.

## Open the command menu

1. Open Pitchdeck in Figma.
2. Press Command + K on macOS or Ctrl + K on Windows, or click the ⌘ K button in the header, to the left of **Tools**. You can also choose **Commands & search** from the **Tools** menu. On Windows the button shows Ctrl K.
3. Type to filter, use ↑ and ↓ to choose, then press Enter to run it. Press Esc to close the menu.

The shortcut works when you aren't typing in a text field, and doesn't open the menu while another Pitchdeck dialog, the presenter or a settings panel is open.

Unavailable items are greyed out for the same reasons as the matching buttons, for example when nothing is selected or a feature needs Pitchdeck Pro.

## What's in the menu

| Group | What you can do |
| --- | --- |
| **Actions** | Presentation commands such as Check presentation quality, Compare exported appearance, Animate slide, Make it move, Deck motion, Present from current slide, Copy animation, Paste animation, Undo and Redo. |
| **Slides** | Slides that match your search, including text in speaker notes. Choosing one opens that slide. |
| **Objects** | Objects on your slides that match your search. |
