# Export HTML emails from Figma to Benchmark Email

## What this video covers

The video shows how to use the Emailify Figma plugin to export an HTML email from Figma and import it into Benchmark Email as a custom HTML email. It also covers adding the Benchmark email footer preset, previewing the design, and adjusting Benchmark footer settings before scheduling the email.

## Things you'll need

- A Figma file with the Emailify plugin available
- A paid Benchmark Email account with access to the code editor

## Steps

1. [ ] Open Figma, find Emailify from Resources under the Plugins tab, and run or save the plugin.
2. [ ] Create a new Emailify container for your email template and add the Benchmark email footer preset from the Footer tab.
3. [ ] Preview the email in Emailify, then click export HTML, choose Benchmark email, enter the subject line and optional preheader text, and download the zip file.
4. [ ] Unzip the export and locate the index.html file inside the exported folder.
5. [ ] In Benchmark Email, go to Emails, create a new Regular email, choose the code editor, and open the editor page.
6. [ ] Clear the default source code, then drag and drop the exported index.html file into the Benchmark source code window.
7. [ ] Use Benchmark settings to remove or adjust footer items as needed, then save and continue to add the subject line again before scheduling the email.
