**What this video covers**

This tutorial shows how to build a custom HTML abandoned cart email template in Figma with the Emailify plugin, upload it to Klaviyo, and use it in a Klaviyo flow. It also demonstrates previewing the template with real checkout data and turning the flow live.

**Things you'll need**

- A Figma file with the Emailify plugin available
- A Klaviyo account with access to create a Private API Key
- A Shopify store for the Shopify abandoned cart template shown in the tutorial

**Steps**

1. Open a new Figma file, run the Emailify plugin, name the email, and add a new Emailify container.
2. In the Ecom tab, choose the Klaviyo Abandoned Cart Items Shopify template and then add the Klaviyo footer from the Footer tab.
3. Preview the template in mobile and desktop, then export HTML and select the Klaviyo export option.
4. In Klaviyo, create a Private API Key with Custom Key access and give Templates read-write access, then paste the key into Emailify and upload the template.
5. In Klaviyo Flows, create a new flow with the Checkout Started trigger, add a 4-hour time delay, and add an email step.
6. Open the email step, select the saved template, preview it with a recent checkout event, and verify the dynamic product data and links.
7. Review the flow settings and turn the flow from draft to live when ready.
