**What this video covers**

The video shows how to add UTM tracking code to links in HTML emails built in Figma with the Emailify Figma plugin. It covers adding UTM parameters directly to individual links, setting a global URL query string for all links, overriding UTM values per button or text link, and exporting the email to HTML.

**Things you'll need**

- Emailify must be available as a Figma plugin
- An email design should already be built in Figma
- A UTM query string or tracked URL should be ready to paste

**Steps**

1. Open Figma, find Emailify from the Resources icon under the Plugins tab, and run or save the Emailify Figma plugin.
2. Select a button or link layer, open HTML and mobile settings, and paste the UTM query string into the clickable link URL field for a single link.
3. To apply tracking across the whole email, select the Emailify frame and use the Append global URL query string setting to add a shared UTM string.
4. If needed, override the global parameters on specific buttons by adding a custom query string directly to that button's clickable link URL.
5. Add a link to text by selecting text, clicking the link icon, choosing create link, and pasting in the tracked URL.
6. Use export HTML to export the email as an HTML zip file and verify the links and UTM tags in the output.
