# Uploading your emails to beehiiv

> Upload an Emailify email to beehiiv as a draft post through its API.

The beehiiv API upload is available to publications on the Max and Enterprise plans.

## Upload a draft

1. In the Emailify export panel, select **beehiiv (API)**.
2. Enter the beehiiv API key and publication ID, which starts with `pub_`.
3. Enter the subject and preheader, then click **Upload Draft To beehiiv**.

Emailify hosts the email images first and creates a draft post. It does not publish, schedule, or send the post.

## HTML limitations

beehiiv wraps the imported content in its own email layout and removes `` and `` tags. Inline styles are preserved, but the draft may not match Emailify's preview exactly. Review the created draft in beehiiv before sending it.
