# How to align content in your email layouts

> You can vertically and horizontally align items in your email designs using Figma's auto-layout alignment properties.

## Vertically aligning columns inside of a row

If you have multiple Column layers inside a Row, you can vertically align them by clicking on your Row layer(s), then changing the Figma auto-layout **Vertical Align** property to either Top, Center or Bottom.

## Horizontally aligning content elements inside of a column

You can horizintally align all of the content layers inside of a Column by clicking on your Column layer(s), then changing the Figma auto-layout **Horizontal Align** property to either Top, Center or Bottom.

## Horizontally aligning text layers

You can align any text layers in your design by clicking on your text layer(s), then changing the Figma **Text Align** property to either Left, Center or Right.
