**What this video covers**

This tutorial shows how to use the Crypto Password Protection Figma plugin to create a password-protected URL for a Figma prototype embed. It also demonstrates how to view the protected prototype, use the embed controls, and later delete the prototype URL or change Figma sharing permissions.

**Things you'll need**

- A Figma file with prototype interactions already set up
- Access to the Figma Share menu to copy the file link

**Steps**

1. Open Figma Community, search for Crypto, and install the Crypto Password Protection plugin.
2. In your Figma file, make sure the design has prototype interactions, then open Crypto Password Protection from Plugins.
3. Switch the plugin to Figma Prototype (Live Embed), click Share Prototype URL, and paste in the Figma file URL after setting the file to Anyone with the link and copying the link from the Share menu.
4. Choose the prototype options such as scaling and whether to show hotspot hints on click, then click Create Prototype URL.
5. Copy the generated secure prototype URL and password, open the URL in a browser, and log in with the password to view the embedded prototype.
6. Use the embed shortcuts like Z for size, R to reset, Left and Right to navigate, F for full screen, and Esc to exit full screen; use the hide and Eye icons to toggle the toolbar.
7. To remove access, either change Figma sharing back to Only people invited to this file or rerun the plugin and click Delete Prototype URL.
