# Activating Crypto Pro

> After trying out all the Pro features of Crypto **10 times**, you can optionally upgrade to continue using all the extra features that are only available in the Pro version; or if you're a casual user, you can continue using the Free version forever.

## Activating the Figma plugin with an Crypto Pro license key

1. **Purchase a Pro license** for you or your team by visiting the [Crypto](https://www.hypermatic.com/crypto/#pro) product page on the Hypermatic website.
2. **Run the Crypto Plugin**, then click on the **Upgrade Now** button at the bottom of the Figma plugin window.
3. **Paste in your Pro key**, then click the **Unlock** button.

This will unlock the Pro version of Crypto and give you unlimited use all of the Figma plugin features.

> **Warning:** Please note, if you're in China, the accounts server _may_ be blocked by "The Great Firewall of China". If you're seeing a activation error, despite using a valid key, you will likely need to use a [VPN](https://protonvpn.com/free-vpn/) to resolve the issue.

> **Info:** If you ever need to use a different license key at any time (eg. you were using your own personal Pro license key, but now your employer is buying you a Pro license to use instead), you can press **CTRL + K** while your plugin window is open in Figma, and this will bring up the license key prompt again, where you can enter a different license key.
