# Sync a folder of images to Figma layers via a spreadsheet

**What this video covers**

The video shows how to use the CopyDoc Figma plugin to sync spreadsheet content, including local image files, into repeated Figma layers. It also demonstrates an alternative way to generate a table in Figma from the same spreadsheet data.

**Things you'll need**

- Figma
- CopyDoc Figma plugin
- A spreadsheet file in .xlsx or .csv format with matching image files

**Steps**

1. Install and open the CopyDoc Figma plugin from Figma Resources or Saved Plugins.
2. Create Figma layers whose names match the spreadsheet headers, such as #Image, #Title, and #Genre.
3. Prepare a spreadsheet with matching column headers and place any referenced image files in a folder alongside it.
4. Compress the spreadsheet and the images folder into a zip file.
5. In CopyDoc, click Sync Content and drag the zip file into the upload area.
6. Select the Figma layers to sync, choose the row order, and click Sync Rows.
7. Optionally, click Generate Table to create a new Figma table from the spreadsheet data.
