# Renaming Figma layers from the spreadsheet

For example, if you have 6 Figma frames all named **#My Frame**, you can use this as a column name in the first row of your spreadsheet, and then add 6 more rows under that column in your spreadsheet containing the names you'd like rename each of the selected frames to in Figma (eg. "My New Frame Name", "My Other New Frame Name" etc).

When you sync the spreadsheet with Figma, any matching (non-text) Figma layers will automatically be renamed.
