# Import Lottie file animations to Figma with one click

## What this video covers

This tutorial shows how to import Lottie animations into Figma using the Convertify Figma plugin in one click. It demonstrates selecting the import Lottie as GIF to Figma option, then drag-and-dropping Lottie or JSON files so they become playable GIF fills in Figma designs and prototypes.

## Things you'll need

- A Figma file
- The Convertify Figma plugin
- A Lottie file or Lottie JSON file

## Steps

1. Open a Figma file and run Convertify from the Figma plugins list.
2. In Convertify, click the **Import into Figma** tab, then choose **Import Lottie as GIF to Figma** from the workflow selector.
3. Download a Lottie file or Lottie JSON file from lottiefiles.com, or use your own Lottie file.
4. Drag and drop the Lottie or JSON file into the plugin’s drop zone.
5. Wait for Convertify to load and optimize the animation as a GIF fill in Figma.
6. Preview the imported animation inline in Figma or play it in a prototype.
