# Importing EMF and WMF to Figma

> Import Windows EMF and WMF drawings as supported Figma vectors, text and images with Convertify.

Convertify imports Windows Enhanced Metafile (`.emf`) and Windows Metafile (`.wmf`) drawings into Figma.

> **Warning:** EMF/WMF import is in Beta. Not every drawing feature is supported. Review import warnings and compare the result with the original.

## Import your drawing

1. Save or export the drawing as a standalone `.emf` or `.wmf` file.
2. [Run Convertify in Figma](/convertify/overview/install) and choose **Import into Figma**.
3. Choose **Import EMF/WMF to Figma (Beta)**.
4. Click the file chooser or drop the file into the plugin.
5. Review the imported vectors, text and images. Check fonts, clipping, fills and line styles against the original.

Supported drawing content becomes Figma layers; embedded bitmap artwork remains image content. Convertify does not export EMF or WMF files.
