To import Lottie animations to Figma, select the **Import Lottie as GIF to Figma** option from the Convertify select box in the plugin, then drag and drop your `.json` or `.lottie` file into the dropzone area inside the Convertify plugin to import it as an animated GIF image layer.

Convertify renders the Lottie animation locally inside the plugin, converts it into an animated GIF, and inserts it into your Figma file as an image fill layer.

> **Info:** Animated GIF layers may appear static while editing in Figma, but can play when viewed in presentation/prototype contexts that support animated GIF playback.

> **Warning:** Lottie files are imported as GIF image layers, not editable vector animation layers.
