# Use Convertify with AI agents

Hypermatic Agent Skills give your AI agent a concise Convertify playbook. The Convertify skill routes each source format to the correct workflow, protects editability where possible, and separates a completed conversion from visual proof.

## Install the Convertify skill

1. Open [Hypermatic Agent Skills](https://hypermatic.ai/).
2. Copy the terminal command, or copy the no-terminal prompt into your agent.
3. Confirm that `hypermatic-convertify` appears in the installed skills.
4. Ask the agent to use the Convertify skill for your task.

## What the skill can help with

- Choose the correct import or export workflow for the source format.
- Preserve editable text, vectors, layers, and prototypes where supported.
- Prepare conversions between Figma and formats such as Sketch, XD, PDF, PSD, or InDesign.
- Inspect the converted artifact and report remaining visual checks.

## Example prompts

- `Use the Convertify skill to prepare these frames for an editable Sketch export.`
- `Use the Convertify skill to check this converted file for missing fonts or assets.`

## Approval and verification

The agent can guide the workflow, or use available Figma and computer-control tools after you approve the requested changes. It must ask before replacing layers, overwriting files, or exporting sensitive source material. If it cannot inspect the converted result, it should not claim that visual fidelity was preserved.

## Trial limits

If Convertify reports that its trial allowance is exhausted, the agent should stop retrying and send you to [Convertify pricing and purchase options](https://www.hypermatic.com/convertify/#pro). Complete checkout and license activation yourself, then tell the agent when Convertify is active.
