# Searching, filtering and sorting your Figma comments

> You can quickly find the Figma comments you're looking for by either searching via keywords, applying narrowing filters, or sorting your comments by different properties.

## Search your Figma comments

To search your Figma comments, with the _Figma Comments_ tab selected, you can start typing a keyword in the **Search Input** field to instantly trigger an automatic content search of your Figma comments.

You can **click on any item** in the search results list to open that comment card in the Commentful plugin.

## Filter your Figma comments

To filter your Figma comments, with the _Figma Comments_ tab selected, you can click on the **Filter** icon button (to the right of the search input field) in the plugin subheader to bring up the filters panel.

With the filtering panel open, you can apply any desired filters to narrow down the Figma comments that will be displayed in your kanban board under the **Figma Comments** tab; these can include filtering by comment date ranges, filtering by Commentful tags, filtering by Figma user and filtering by which Figma frame(s) the Figma comments belong to.

> **Tip:** You can clear your applied filters at any time by re-opening the filters panel (by clicking on the **Filters** icon button in the plugin subheader), then clicking the **Clear Filters** button, which will reset all the filters and show all of your Figma comments again (without any narrowing/filtering of comments applied).

## Sort your Figma comments

To sort your Figma comments, with the _Figma Comments_ tab selected, you can click on the **Sort** select box at the bottom of the plugin window to use the comment sorting dropdown options.

This dropdown box will let you sort by:

- The **Last Reply** in any Figma comment (this is default sort option).
- The Figma comment **Created Date**.
- The name of the Figma **User** who posted the comment.

Selecting any of these dropdown options will autmatically sort your Figma comments in the kanban board by the ordering you've selected.
