If you would like to override the image file format for any layer in your timeline, you can optionally do this for any layer by clicking any layer's **Settings** icon button in the main timeline to open the layer settings, and selecting an option from the **Optionally override the image format for this layer in banner exports** dropdown select list:

- Auto-detect optimal format _(Default)_
- Export layer as JPG _(.jpg)_
- Export layer as PNG _(.png)_
- Export layer as SVG _(.svg)_

This will ensure that your layer will always be exported to the image format you've selected when they're exported to HTML from the Bannerify plugin.

> **Tip:** **Bulk applying image format override settings**. As with other layer settings, you can also apply your image format override to layers in bulk by using the [bulk apply](/bannerify/animation/animating-banners#applying-bulk-animations) feature.
